List of Ingredients
- 4 servings of Almond Meal
- 1 serving of Morton Iodized Salt
- 10 servings of Sweetened Condensed Milk
- 1.5 servings of Vanilla extract (1 tsp)
- 4 servings of TJs 72 percent Dark Chocolate
- 16 servings of Unsweetened Flaked Coconut
- 3 servings of Egg, white, raw, fresh (1 large)
Recipe Description
Ingredients:
- 3 large egg whites
- 4 cups unsweetened flaked coconut
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 (300 ml) can sweetened condensed milk (or you can use this sugarless version)
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 325.
- Beat egg whites till very stiff. Set aside.
- Combine coconut, flour and salt.
- Stir in vanilla and milk.
- Fold in egg whites.
- Drop from a tablespoon onto a greased cookie sheet.
- Bake for 14 minutes or until golden brown.
Low Carb Dark Chocolate Topping
Ingredients:
1 bar of Trader Joe’s 72% Dark Chocolate
Procedure:
Heat broken chocolate in double boiler (I just improvise by immersing a small pot in a big pot of boiling water)
Mix until well blended and chocolate turns shiny
Spoon on top of cooled macaroons
