List of Ingredients
- 8 servings of Sweet Pepper, Raw, Green
- 4 servings of Ground Turkey Breast fat free
- 6 servings of Organic Pasta Sauce - Tomato Basil
- 1 serving of Onion
- 2 servings of Olive Oil
- 2 servings of Organic Texmati Brown Rice
Recipe Description
Peppers stuffed with ground turkey, rice and tomato sauce.
- Prepare rice according to instructions
- When rice is simmering, preheat oven to 350F and hollow peppers
- Pan-fry turkey in a little olive oil and water, season to taste. When turkey is partway done, chop and add the onion (more or less to taste
- When meat and rice is cooked, combine both with tomato sauce in a large bowl
- Stuff the peppers with the meat/rice/sauce mixture
- Bake for an hour or until peppers are soft. Next time I'm going to try rubbing peppers with olive oil so they don't dry out. Or you could baste with tomato sauce.
