I have been involved with fitness and athletics for the majority of my life. I have enjoyed it so much that I decided to go to school to learn as much as possible about the human body. After receiving my education and experience as a trainer, I enjoy spreading all of my knowledge to help as many individuals as I can. I am extremely motivated by helping others which is why personal training is such a great fit for me.

What do you look for in a client?
I am excited to work with all types of clients. What I look for most is a client who is motivated and knows exactly what they want out of an exercise routine. Motivated clients, regardless of goals, are extremely fun to work with and will always give 100%. When clients know what they want they will set themselves up for success.
What advice do you have for someone wanting to get in better shape?
My advice is to have realistic goals both long term and short. Without proper goals a fitness program will go nowhere. Setting behavioral goals that you have control of are the best. Instead of saying I want to lose 20lbs think of what behaviors you can change to reach that weight goal. For example, instead you can say I will swim for 30 minutes 4 days per week and stick to it.
