Workout Program Description

 

 

The U.S. Surgeon General’s recommended guidelines to reduce the risks for cardiovascular disease is to include 30 minutes of moderate-intense physical activity on most (preferably, all) days of the week. 

With this work out I will be able to meet to recommendations from the US Surgeon General and live a healthier life. 

 

Workouts

Description

warm up for 5 minutes doing 3.0 speed no incline. Then just increase your speed and incline gradually (in your choice) till you are at 15 incline at 3.5 speed for 10 minutes. Cool down to a comfortable level for 5 minutes.

You've chosen a great variety of activities. However, in your indoor workout, it seems you've got over 30 minutes of activity listed (yoga 1 hour, Walking 10 minutes, Treadmill 45 minutes). The assignment asked for 3 10-minute activities. And while yoga is a great activity, it is not often considered a cardiovascular/moderate intense activity. But ultimately, whatever activity one chooses, 30 minutes of something is always better than nothing, right?
