Description

High Intensity Interval Training is what that is. It is a modification of the Tabata Protocol where you work at a very high intensity for a very short period of time, following a period of rest. That is one sprint. You do 6-8 sprints. The real Tabata is where you go nuts for 20 seconds and then 10 seconds rest. You do this for 4 minutes and you are done. But it will kill you if you are not conditioned - so go with my suggestion and build up to a real Tabata.

Warm Up: 3-5 Mins at 50% Max Effort HIIT Sprints (6-8): - 30 seconds at 80-90% Max Effort - 30 seconds active rest 60% Max Effort Repeat 6-8 times. Cool Down: 7-8 minutes
