Workout Program Description

Piloxing: Flat Abs and a GREAT Butt! These exercises were in the March 2009 issue of Seventeen. Piloxing was created by Viveca Jensen, and she looks amazing!

Workouts

Missing Burn Out
3 sets: 15 reps, 15 reps, 15 reps
Stand with feet shoulder-width apart and fists by your face, like a boxer. Punch left arm and recoil, then right. Do quickly for 15 seconds; rest. Repeat twice.

Missing Serve the Platter
3 sets: 8 reps, 8 reps, 8 reps
Stand on bent right leg with left leg lifted and bent. Your palms are at your chest. Straighten arms and left leg, then return to starting position. Do three sets of eight on each leg.

Missing Drive the Car
3 sets: 15 reps, 15 reps, 15 reps
Stand with feet wide, knees bent, and arms straight out, as if you're grabbing a steering wheel at 10 and 2 o' clock. Steer to the right, then to the left. Keep doing this for 15 seconds then rest. Re...

Missing Spinal-Twist Sit-Up
3 sets: 8 reps, 8 reps, 8 reps
Sit on the floor with legs bent in front of you. Lift arms up in the air and lean back slightly. Pull left knee in as you twist right elbow to it. Return to start. Repeat to other side. Do three sets ...

Missing Crisscross
3 sets: 15 reps, 15 reps, 15 reps
Stand with feet shoulder-width apart and knees bent. Keep your fists close to your face. Jump up. Land with feet crossed, then jump back to start. Do for 15 seconds. Rest, then repeat twice.

Missing Raise the Roof
3 sets: 8 reps, 8 reps, 8 reps
Stand with knees bent and weight on right leg. Put palms up, next to ears. Extend left leg to side as you push arms up. Return to start. Do three sets of eight on each leg.

Piloxing

This sounds like so much fun! I don't think I have ever done anything similar to this in the past so it will be good exercise (both for my body and my brain) to do something new. I think I'll try this one at home first (just in case I look like an idiot) then move to an outdoor location later.

Fun and Easy

I tried this last night for the first time and woke up sore in my obliques. There hard to get down at first because there are no illustrations or videos to show how to do them so read them carefully. And remember to flew your Abs the whole time. I'll probably do this every other night or at least three times a week.
