A beginners program.
The plan.
Start with a very small, easy objective, one that you are completely sure you can reach. (I started with 4 -four- minutes.
You reach your objective any how. You have to run four minutes. You don’t care if you do in a single go or in eight half a minute jog. Fast or crawling. On two legs or four. Inside or outside. But it has to be four minutes and not a second less.

Award yourself a medal (one you can’t eat). You deserve it.
Keep like that every day (or almost), until you run more or less like most people. Then it is when you might start to worry about running style, speed, or participating in a marathon -if you are into that.
