Description
This cardio program is an 8 week aerobic plan that never goes over 15 minutes per session. Some of you may know it as “High-Intensity Interval Training”. Make no mistake, it is not easy. Shawn Phillips of EAS and Muscle Media fame has an article outlining the program here: http://musclemedia.com/training/hiit.asp With this program you can still make gains in muscle while burning the fat off quicker than just cardio for hours. I know, I have done this before and it does work and doesn’t take a whole hour to do. One thing he doesn’t mention is stretching. Please, do not forget to stretch before starting a session. Actually you may even spend more time stretching than you will doing the actual exercise! I use a treadmill for this program because of convenience however, you may choose to run or bike or stair step you way through it, the concept is the same.
